From June 15th to June 21st, 2025, the AQHA VRH World Championships took place in Amarillo, Texas.

The VRH World Championships took place over a week at the Tri-State Exposition, combining three premier ranch horse events: the AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse World Championships, the AQHA Ranching Heritage Challenge Finals, and the AQHA Cattle Level 1 Championships.

In the ranch horse discipline, Legendary Stakes competitors claimed multiple purses. In the cowboy VRH division, the horse Hes Crazy Quick, sired by Bob Hes Quick, the rider and breeder Jason Perry, and the dam CD Boonolena each earned 9 points. In the VRH Amateur, the horse Dry Windy Rey, sired by Peptorey, the dam Dry Docket, and the breeder Jane Bagley each earned 9 points. Dry Windy Rey’s dam, breeder, and sire each earned $75 in royalties, and Hes Crazy Quick’s dam, breeder, and sire each received $100 in royalties from their entries.
