On April 20, 2024, the CoVRHA – Colorado Kickoff took place in Elbert, Colorado, marking the start of the ranch horse competition season in the region.
Held at the Latigo Trails Equestrian Center, this event drew riders and horses from various parts of the state and beyond, to showcase their skills in a range of challenging classes.
The Colorado Kickoff featured a variety of shows designed to test the versatility and athleticism of ranch horses. Competitions included Ranch Cutting, Ranch Trail, Working Ranch, Ranch Riding, and Conformation. These events provided a display of horsemanship, with participants demonstrating their abilities in different aspects of ranch work. Spectators enjoyed a day filled with thrilling performances and opportunities to engage with the local equestrian community.
