On July 6th and 7th, 2024, the CoVRHA Mid Summer Rendezvous took place at the Latigo Trails Equestrian Center in Elbert, Colorado.

The Colorado Kickoff featured a variety of shows designed to test the versatility and athleticism of ranch horses. Competitions included Ranch Cutting, Ranch Trail, Working Ranch, Ranch Riding, and Conformation. These events provided a display of horsemanship, with participants demonstrating their abilities in different aspects of ranch work. Spectators enjoyed a day filled with thrilling performances and opportunities to engage with the local equestrian community.

In the ranch horse discipline, a Legendary Stakes competitor, the horse Driving Ms Mercedes, claimed a single purse, earning a total of 9 points, moving their way further up the leaderboard. The sire Hydrive Cat earned a single $25 royalty for the entry of Driving Ms Mercedes, increasing their yearly earnings.
