From May 31st to June 1st, 2025, the Ranch Horse Stakes was held at the Custer County Fairground in Broken Bow, Nebraska.

The Ranch Horse Stakes is put on by the Nebraska Ranch Horse Association (NeRHA). The NeRHA hosts events across the state to support riders in learning, mastering, and showcasing the skills of a true versatile working ranch horse. Members gain access to exclusive clinics, competitions, special discounts, and year-end awards—making each event a step toward growth, recognition, and community within the ranch horse world.

In the ranch horse discipline, Legendary Stakes competitors won multiple purses. In the VRH Amateur, the horse RJ Shakemup Sannman and rider Shalee Morrison each earned 9 points. RJ Shakemup Sannman’s dam, breeder, and sire each received $50 in royalties for the horse entry.
