The Slidin Daze Spectacular is coming to the Latigo Equestrian Center in Elbert, Colorado from July 31 – August 3, 2025. This summer highlight in the Slidin Daze Series draws top ranch horse competitors for an action packed weekend of Herd Work, AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse, Ranch Cutting, Stock Horse divisions, and a special performance event lineup. With added money on the line and judges Rick and Dolly Chayer presiding, riders will go head-to-head in classes like reining, cow horse, and steer stopping. From youth to open divisions, the level of competition is high, the cattle are ready, and the stakes are real.

Beyond the arena, the Spectacular is part of a bigger series that qualifies riders for AQHA and NRSHA World Shows. No memberships are required to join Stock Horse or Open Herd Work classes. Legendary Stakes diversifies your horse’s earning power and rewards all participants in the Annual Competition. In a Legendary Stakes event, you can enter as Horse Owner, Rider, Dam Owner, Breeder, and win purses in your category that will grow in value throughout the year. Stallion owners and breeders will receive a 10% royalty for each entry connected to their offspring, allowing stallions to participate and be rewarded in the competitive lifespan of their offspring.
