The 88th Annual Palo Pinto County Livestock Association Rodeo will return to its historic arena in Mineral Wells, Texas from May 1 – 3, 2025, continuing nearly nine decades of authentic Texas rodeo tradition. This beloved community event kicks off with Saturday’s parade and street dance on April 26 before transitioning to three days of professional rodeo action featuring breakaway roping and other classic events.
At the PPCLA Arena, competitors and spectators alike will experience genuine cowboy culture at its finest, from the electric atmosphere of the rodeo grounds to the warm community spirit that defines this Mineral Wells institution. The 2025 edition promises the same thrilling performances and small-town charm that have made it a cornerstone of North Texas rodeo for generations. Whether you’re competing for qualifying points or just looking for an authentic Western experience, this is where rodeo’s grassroots heart beats strongest.

In a Legendary Stakes event, you can enter as Horse Owner, Rider, Dam Owner, Breeder, and win purses in your category that will grow in value throughout the year. Stallion owners and breeders will receive a 10% royalty for each entry connected to their offspring, allowing stallions to participate and be rewarded in the competitive lifespan of their offspring.
