The AQHA East Level 1 Championships will return to the World Equestrian Center in Wilmington, Ohio from April 21 – 27, 2025, offering developing competitors their premier opportunity to shine in a championship setting. Designed specifically for AQHA members building their show careers, this event creates the perfect environment for riders to gain big-arena experience while competing against peers at similar skill levels.
At the state-of-the-art World Equestrian Center facility, competitors will find all the trappings of a major championship – from professional judges to quality footing – packaged in an encouraging atmosphere that prioritizes horsemanship growth. The 2025 edition continues the event’s reputation as the ideal bridge between local shows and national-level competition, where emerging talent can test their skills, learn from top professionals, and celebrate the journey of becoming accomplished AQHA exhibitors.

Legendary Stakes diversifies your horse’s earning power and rewards all participants in the Annual Competition. In a Legendary Stakes event, you can enter as Horse Owner, Rider, Dam Owner, Breeder, and win purses in your category that will grow in value throughout the year. Stallion owners and breeders will receive a 10% royalty for each entry connected to their offspring, allowing stallions to participate and be rewarded in the competitive lifespan of their offspring.
