From February 28th to March 9th, 2025, the Arizona Sun Circuit was held at the WestWorld in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The Arizona Sun Circuit, the largest AQHA circuit in the world, offered a class for every exhibitor at every level. Exhibitors enjoyed the great atmosphere and mild March weather while competing at the world-class equestrian facilities of WestWorld in Scottsdale, Arizona. The venue featured four indoor, climate-controlled arenas and multiple outdoor arenas, with ample space for warm-ups. Exhibitors appreciated showing in Scottsdale, with its wide range of dining, shopping, events and activities. The Sun Circuit staff shared that enthusiasm, creating a welcoming environment and working to make each participant’s experience memorable.
In the reined cow horse, heeling, and heading disciplines, Legendary Stakes competitors won multiple purses. In the reined cow horse discipline and the Non-Pro Hackamore division, the hours Lonng White Line, sired by Sannman, earned 10 points. In the heeling discipline and the Futurity division, the horse Stars Over TX, sired by Sannman, earned 9 points. In the heading discipline and the Futurity division, the horse DCC Fools Gold, sired by Metallic Echo, the dam DCC Smooth Sugar, and the breeder Dasco Cattle Co each earned 9 points. For the horse entry, the dam DCC Smooth Sugar, the breeder Dasco Cattle Co, and the sire Metallic Echo received $75 in royalties each for the horse DCC Fools Gold entry. The dams Star G Peptonia and SR Smart N Stylish, the breeders Kaden Rutherford and Judge Livestock, and the sire Sannman each received $25 in royalties for the horses, Stars Over TX and Lonng White Line’s entry.
In the reined cow horse discipline, within the Non-Pro Hackamore division, the horse Lonng White Line, sired by Sannman, earned 10 points. In the heeling discipline, under the Futurity division, the horse Stars Over TX, also sired by Sannman, earned 9 points. In the heading discipline and Futurity division, the horse DCC Fools Gold—sired by Metallic Echo, out of the dam DCC Smooth Sugar, and bred by Dasco Cattle Co—earned 9 points.
For the DCC Fools Gold entry, the sire Metallic Echo, dam DCC Smooth Sugar, and breeder Dasco Cattle Co each received $75 in royalties. For the entries of Stars Over TX and Lonng White Line, the sires (Sannman), dams (Star G Peptonia and SR Smart N Stylish), and breeders (Kaden Rutherford and Judge Livestock) each received $25 in royalties.
