On August 30th, 2024 the NRCHA and AQHA cow horse show was held at the Colorado State Fair/Futurity in Pueblo, Colorado.
The NRCHA and AQHA show, held at the Colorado State Fair/Futurity, was a three day event featuring three different legs of competition: reining, cutting, and fence work. This event highlighted a horse’s ability to perform in multiple events within a single competition.
In the reined cow horse discipline, Legendary Stakes competitors claimed multiple purses across 2 separate divisions at the Colorado State Fair/Futurity, earning their way further up the leaderboard. In the derby non-pro boxing division, the horse Outn The Boondocs, sired by Cats Royal Boon, earned 9 points. The rider, Carrie J. Garland, and the dam, Mac San Docs Diane, also earned 9 points each with Outn The Boondocs. In the open futurity division, the horse Cats Like Butter, sired by Cats Royal Boon, earned 9 points, and the dam, Docs Butter Milo, also earned 9 points. The sire, Cats Royal Boon, earned $125 in royalties for 5 entries, increasing their yearly earnings.
