From February 21st to 23rd, 2025, the Cowboy Classic took place in Hutchinson, Kansas.
The show featured Rookie and Cowboy divisions, VRH Cutting, AQHA Ranch Riding, Ranch Trail, and all-breed classes. Produced by Western Kansas Horse Show Management, the VRH show was held at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, Kansas.
In the ranch horse discipline, Legendary Stakes competitors claimed multiple purses. In the Cowboy VRH division, the horse Hes Crazy Quick, sired by Bob Hes Quick, the rider and breeder Jason Perry, and the dam CD Boonolena each earned 10 points. In the Open VRH division, the horse Cats Like Butter, sired by Cats Royal Boon, the rider Jason Perry, the dam Docs Butter Milo, and the breeder Perry Quarter Horses all earned 9 points. In the limited amateur VRH division, the horse Hes Crazy Quick, sired by Bob Hes Quick, and the dam CD Boonolena, each earned 9 points. The horses’ sires, dams, and breeders each received $25 in royalties for the entries.
