From March 17th to 23rd, 2025, the CRCHA Paso Robles Spring Classic Derby was held at the Paso Robles Event Center in Paso Robles, California.

Now in its fifth year, the event reached new heights, combining the Spectacular and Show #2 with the Spring Classic Derby. In addition to offering best-in-class added money, payouts, entry fees and grounds fees, this year’s hosted hospitality events expanded to include a wine tasting, barbecue, open bridle bar, exhibitor breakfast and herd help lunch service.

In the reined cow horse discipline, Legendary Stakes a competitor won two purses. In the non pro boxing spectacular division, the horse Shades Of Rey, sired by Dual Rey, earned 9 points. Shades Of Rey’s sire, dam, and breeder each received $25 in royalties for the horse entry.
