From June 5th to July 1st, 2025, the Gridiron Futurity took place in Broken Bow, North Dakota.

The 2025 Gridiron Futurity was held at the All Seasons Arena, and had over $17,500 breeder incentives with over $36,000 total added money. This event was a barrel racing futurity, showcasing young horses and their riders.

In the barrel racing discipline, Legendary Stakes competitors claimed multiple purses. In the open division, the horse TY Blazinblackbadger, sired by TR Illumniator Cash, the rider Callie Thomas-Kindred, the dam Chick Is Blazin, and the breeder Harry Thomas each earned 9 points and won two purses. TR Blazinblackbadger’s sire, dam, and breeders each received $100 in royalties for the entries.
