From March 18th to 20th, 2025, the Kiplinger Cow Horse Spectacular took place in McCook, Nebraska.

This annual event brought together ranchers and their horses from various regions to compete in a variety of cow horse disciplines. The Spectacular highlighted the remarkable talents of both riders and horses, showcasing their expertise in a variety of classes. Participants and spectators enjoyed a day filled with competitive spirit and community engagement.

In the reined cow horse discipline, Legendary Stakes competitors earned multiple purses. In the non pro derby division, the horse Hot Donna, sired by Dual Reyish, and the rider Megan Ciana both earned 9 points. In the same division, the horse Boxo Opus Valentine, sired by Opus Cat Olena, and the rider Jecca Ostrander each earned 7 points. The horses’ sires, dams, and breeders each earned $25 in royalties for the entries.
