From March 13th to 16th, 2025, the PRCHA Spring Fling was held at the Texas Tech Equestrian Center in Lubbock, Texas.

Hosted by the Panhandle Reined Cow Horse Association, this event marked the exciting start of their show season and featured a variety of reined cow horse disciplines. Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or new to the sport, the Spring Fling offers the perfect opportunity to showcase your skills, connect with fellow riders, and celebrate the versatility of cow horses.

In the reined cow horse discipline, Legendary Stakes competitors won multiple purses. In the senior working cow horse division, Dual Smarty, sired by Dual Smart Rey, earned 10 points. In the intermediate non-pro boxing division, Dry Windy Rey, sired by Peptory, also earned 10 points. In the amateur working cow horse division, Droughted Out, sired by Peptory, secured 10 points as well. Each horse’s sire, dam, and breeder received $25 in royalties for the entry.
