From April 26th to May 4th, 2025, the Ruby Buckle Central Regional Race was held at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma.

Spanning nine days, this premier regional barrel racing event is a key qualifier for the Ruby Buckle Finals—drawing top contenders from across the Central U.S. to compete on one of the sport’s most legendary arenas. Hosted at the renowned Lazy E facility, the event pairs high-level competition with professional production, earning its place as a spring circuit essential.

In the barrels discipline, Legendary Stakes competitors won two purses. In the futurity division, Pep Rallie, sired by French Streakin Jess, the rider Hallie Hanssen, the dam Mean Cheerleader, the breeders Lee and Hallie Hanssen, and the sire each earned 9 points. Pep Rallie’s sire, dam, and breeder each received $25 in royalties for the horse entry.
