On August 3, 2024, the Ride For The Brand Championship Ranch Rodeo took place at the Norris Penrose Event Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
As the largest ranch rodeo sanctioned by the Working Ranch Cowboys Association, it celebrates the skills of real working cowboys. Proceeds support local ranchers through the WRCA Foundation’s Scholarship Fund, Cowboy Crisis Fund, Wildlife Relief Fund, and local military charities.
Ride For The Brand showcases local ranch cowboys who dedicate their lives to cattle ranching and contribute over $100,000 to the WRCA Foundation in the past decade, promoting and preserving the ranching lifestyle.
In the ranch rodeo discipline, Legendary Stakes competitors claimed multiple purses at the Ride For The Brand Championship Ranch Rodeo. In the open division, the horses Third Cattylac and Seven S Redbone, both owned by Slash Bar Four Inc., each earned 9 points in their respective categories, earning their way up the leaderboard. Each sire earned $25 in royalties from each of the 2 different entries.
