The Non-Pro plus The Open took place from June 7-16, 2024, at the Hardy Murphy Coliseum in Ardmore, Oklahoma. This event featured multiple classes, providing a platform for various levels of expertise and age groups.
The Hardy Murphy Coliseum, a historic landmark and event venue, hosts events 48 weeks a year, attracting over 100,000 visitors annually. With its top-notch facilities, it provided an excellent venue for both horses and riders for The Non-Pro plus The Open.
In the cutting discipline, Legendary Stakes competitors claimed multiple purses at The Non Pro plus The Open, earning their way further up the leaderboard. The horse SDP Carpe Diem Baby, owned by SDP Buffalo Ranch, the dam SDP Hicapoo Cat, and the breeder SDP Buffalo Ranch under the sire Sannman each earned 9 points. The sire Sannman earned a total of $75 (three royalties of $25 each) increasing their yearly earnings.
